Many of the farms in this collection are small, family-operated operations that do not hold organic certification — not because of their practices, but because the cost of certification has become prohibitive for small producers. We know them, we visit them, and we want you to know about them too.

You will find coffees here that are grown using sustainable farming practices, sourced directly from farms, or produced in ways that support the livelihoods of the growers and their communities. We clearly note these distinctions on each product so you can make informed choices about the coffee you buy.
