Our French Dark Roast is created by blending coffees from Central and South America, resulting in a bold and rich flavor. During the roasting process, the oils in the beans are brought to the surface, making this dark roast stand out in comparison to lighter roasts. Whether enjoyed as a black coffee or espresso, this blend is a customer favorite, prized for its smoothness and rich taste. Additionally, it is available in decaf for those who prefer a caffeine-free option.
Coffee Profile: The French Dark Roast is not as dark as the Italian roast, but still darker than the Vienna Dark Roast. While it may not be our darkest option, it boasts a flavorful profile that appeals to customers seeking a bold and smooth black coffee experience.

i have been a customer for more than 25yrs! I used Passport when i wanted to transfer our business from a coffee cart to an actual brick and mortar store front. When we sold the store, I transferred my account for my personal use of the fantastic French Roast. Every pound is the same. Dark brown, covered with oil and the aroma makes your mouth water. For 25yrs from month to month the coffee remains consistently the same, wonderful. And the bonus is- the family is wonderful, supportive, thorough and friendly. I'm a dark roast guy and totally shocked at the difference between this French Roast and what ive been buying from Costco for the past few years. I've never even seen a more perfect bag of beans. There was not a single broken bean in my whole bag and the perfection of the roast quality is very impressive. Ive never even seen a batch of coffee beans so beautifully roasted before. The dark and shiny appearance was just amazing. I like to make my coffee using a French press but also pull 2-3 shots of espresso every day as well. The taste is outstanding using either method, very bold, full bodied and robust. I love the flexibility of their membership and so happy i found these guys. The best oart is theyre only about 1.5 miles from my house.

We discovered this coffee at a favorite breakfast spot when we were in AZ a couple of years ago. The coffee was AMAZING. The restaurant was kind enough to give us the name of their coffee supplier and we've been ordering from Passport ever since. The only blend we've bought was the French Roast and it never disappoints.
