Sourced primarily from Nishio in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, one of the country’s most historic tea-growing regions dating back to the 1200s, this matcha reflects centuries of cultivation expertise.

Nishio’s unique environment—stable coastal climate, pristine river waters, fertile soil, and distance from heavy urban development—creates tea leaves that develop an exceptionally vibrant green color and naturally rich nutrient profile.

Carefully shade-grown, stone-ground, and finely milled, this premium matcha delivers a smooth, refined flavor with minimal bitterness and a naturally creamy mouthfeel. Its deep grass-green color signals the high chlorophyll content and careful processing behind every batch.

Because of its concentrated flavor and quality, you may find that less matcha is needed to produce an exceptional cup.

Brewing Recommendations:

* Use 1 teaspoon (about 2g) of matcha powder per cup

* Add a few drops of hot water (70–80°C / 160–180°F) to whisk into a smooth paste

* Gradually add remaining hot water and whisk until frothy
