Dark roast. Good flavor and aroma

The Italian roast is insanely good! I drink more dark roast than anything else and typically have only tried French roast from big box retailers such as Costco. I had previously purchased the French roast from Passport and absolutely love it but after trying their Italian roast upon a recommendation from one if their staff, i just found my new go-to roast. Just like their French roast, the beans were roasted to perfection and picture perfect, with not a single broken bean in my bag. The deep, dark color of this roast is amazing, as is the aroma and taste. This is their darkest roast and the closest thing i have ever found to the incredible coffee i drank on a trip to Italy a few years ago. I added two pounds of this roast to my membership and buy two pounds every 15 days. I drink my French press every morning and make 2-3 shots if espresso each day as well and both came out delicious. Amazing roast. Love this company!
Pretty much every coffee we've tried from Passport has been 4.5 or better. The Italian roast is our favorite. It is dark, bold and rich.
We are happy with the Italian Blend. Normally we take the French Blend, but we thought we'd try the Italian Blend this time. We find both of these excellent choices.
