Originally used only in an Organic Japanese Tea Ceremony, Organic Japanese Matcha is a high-grade matcha tea. This fine powder is meticulously ground from premium green tea leaves, preserving their full nutritional profile and complex flavor compounds. The vibrant emerald powder contains concentrated antioxidants, amino acids, and chlorophyll that deliver both health benefits and a distinctive umami taste with subtle sweetness. To prepare properly, use 1 teaspoon of matcha per cup (or adjust to taste). Begin by placing the powder in a cup, then add a few drops of hot water (160-180°F) and whisk until a smooth paste forms without lumps. Finally, add the remaining water and stir thoroughly. For traditional preparation, consider using a bamboo whisk (chasen) to achieve the perfect frothy consistency.
