Holy basil, tulasi or tulsi as it is commonly known, is an aromatic perennial plant in the family Lamiaceae. Tulsi, Hindu for "The Incomparable One," is native to the India and cultivated throughout the Southeast Asia and Africa. This herb has a long history in eastern medicine with many claimed health benefits. With its fairly strong but not overpowering flavor, you immediately notice freshly-torn herb and spice flavors, rounded out with a smooth finish. Also use in many cooking dishes for it's light spiciness. All our imported teas start with the finest ingredients. We custom blend and infuse our teas by hand.
Tea sold by the weight loose leaf.

Great tea especially when steeped with ginger.
Love it. I need to juice some ginger, lemon and add a little touch of sage honey to my hot tea to make it perfectly wonderful! Try it!
I bought as holy basil is so good for the body ! I drink it with a little Jerusalem sage a friend gave me. Little raw local honey and fresh lemon squeeze , perfect!
